All Latin IV Students Score ‘Cum Laude’ or Higher on National Test

Our Latin IV upper school class took the Intermediate Reading Comprehension Latin Exam last month. It is a challenging nationally normed test, for which we prepared throughout the year. With enthusiasm, I can report that all 10 students in the class received a personal recognition of Cum Laude or higher on the test. Which means that 100% of the students scored higher than the national average for this particular test. Teacher Miss Thompson to Join Norbertine Canonesses

OLR’s 2nd grade teacher, Miss Willow Thompson, has been accepted to join the Norbertine Canonesses of the Bethlehem Priory of St. Joseph, starting this summer. What a beautiful gift to the Lord! We wish Miss Thompson a blessed and fruitful discernment that leads her to God’s will for her life. We are so grateful for the two years she gave to Our Lady of the Rosary. ‘Back to the Future’ Gala Hosts Rod Dreher, Sets Fundraising Records

OLR’s spring fundraising gala for the school last month was a big success! Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the school, the theme was “Back to the Classics, for the Future of Classical Education.” We hosted conservative Christian author Rod Dreher, had a great party, and set a new record in money raised to support the mission of our school.
