Mrs. McMahon comes to us from Rockville, Maryland, but she is a native of South Carolina. She brings over 20 years of experience teaching in Catholic elementary classrooms and has spent much of that time in 3rd grade specifically. She has also served as Department Chair for grades 3 through 5. During the interview process, Mrs. McMahon expressed much enthusiasm for the traditional classical methodology OLR has adopted. While Mrs. McMahon is clearly a superior educator, what strikes one most about her are her positivity, creativity, and sincere devotion to her Catholic faith. She only expressed one regret about moving to Greenville: the commute may be too short for her to complete the full Rosary she is accustomed to praying on the way to work!
